Great place for a casual ride with the family, to bird watch (we've seen several road runners here), or to ride hard with your buddies. Slower traffic stays to the right.
Excellent location to do some spinning and Short Hill Climb. Not that crowded during the week before 1 p.m. will definitely come again
Fantastic paved bike / skate only track through beautiful hill country natural scenery. No cars or pedestrians to worry about. For mountain bikers there is also an extensive system of single track trails that have a couple of drop in points along the veloway.
One of the best places to cycle in Austin. Works great for beginners all the way up to advanced cyclist. Safe 3 mile loop with no traffic, no walkers, and no dogs. The lane has been recently repaved so the surface is great. There is a nice variety of terrain from flats to gradual climbs and even one tough climb that keeps things interesting, but nothing to hard to scare people away. There is also the option of a 1 mile loop that takes out the tough climb. I enjoy it for those hot days because I'm always close to the car and there is a fountain at the entrance. Family friendly but not the place to teach your kid to learn to ride a bike.
