I've been a member of REI so long that when I joined there was only one store in Seattle. I have always been satisfied with the service I have gotten. Yesterday I went in to pick up an online order. I was helped by Julia Jones. When I expressed my frustration on not being able to apply dividends to my online purchase, she found a way to save me a substantial part of the online price to make up for that. It took time and was way beyond what I was willing to accept but she made sure I was really happy before I walked out their door.
Love REI. Great outdoor apparel and gear. Price is comparable, their private label gear is very resonable without sacrificing quality.
A very good place to shop for outdoor equipment. Smaller than most of the other REI stores that I've been to, so the selection is slightly more limited.
