We found an inexpensive Chinese bed-frame from Walmart so we could continue to use the framework (which is pretty btw), but part of why we were excited to get a bed from here was that we weren't buying inexpensive Chinese things from Walmart.

My wife, infant daughter, and I weight in well under 400 lbs and we weren't using a box spring. We were all dead asleep when it snapped. Also used the slats it came with and had a store person deliver and help install.
