I suggest not to buy from here. unless you really see what you are going to buy and open the box before hand, so they don't sell you DAMAGED or USED stuff.
My sister-in-law won a 500.00$ shopping spree giveaway here a few years ago at xmastime.
They probably sent me the base table that they wanted to get rid of.
I am so disappointed about this place, I throw away $900, got bad customer service and got scammed. I will never come back.
I went to Fourhands and I liked some of the pieces they had there, the people working there, they seem busy in their computers. My fiance talked to one employee and they guy just ignored him, they have bad costumer service. I bought a desk/table in that store and I wanted that for my new apartment in California. I couldn't see the table because it was a screwed box. I took it out of the box when I arrived to California and we saw that it was bent, we paid $900 for a bent desk basically, so I talked to an employee there and since it was their fault, they sent me a new base, the base that they sent me was worst than the one i got in the first place. As you can see in the picture, it is chipped in some places, it is in horrible condition, some of the paint is missing, one of the legs is shiny and the other is opaque. It is not the same quality as the first one that i got. I feel that I was scammed, I wouldn't buy this if this was going to happen. I called and talked to the manager and sent her the pictures of the damaged base and told me that they did a favor by sending this base because it was not their fault that I moved, that the base was normal and it had an antique look, can you believe that? and there was nothing that she could do. She said that the base could be damaged because in the shipment and that its not their problem if that happened, that they are not going to believe me. Just like a horror movie.
Decent sized furniture store with a great selection of what appears to be quality products at very fair prices. I would say the selection is a bit eclectic but contemporary. I just wish the sales team was more interested in selling an less interested in looking busy. The entire time we were in the store, not one salesperson approached us or anyone. They were all glued to their computers busy at work. As a result of the lack of service, we decided not to even consider purchasing the pieces we liked.
Very nice and clean place. Everyone is willing to show excellent service.
I hope Fourhands changes their staff because they are very rude!!! and if they messed up, they won't help you.
Love this furniture store...the best in Austin! The quality is amazing and the staff is not pushy, like some furniture stores, but very helpful! I have quite a few pieces and plan on adding more! Definitely an Austin gem.
