Great selection with lots of unique pieces compared to most furniture stores. I loved that I could customize a large majority of their sofas/sectionals. The sales guy was helpful but not pushy and let me wonder and shop on my own, but was helpful when I had queations, which I really appreciated. The price of the piece I liked was a bit higher than others I'd found, but there were other pieces that were more comparably prices
We've been buying furniture from Gage for about 15 years now and have always been happy with the selection (we consider ourselves in between traditional and modern styles) and quality (as long as you don't get the "cheap" stuff - you get what you pay for - that's anywhere). From our first real bedroom set bought off the showroom floor, to a custom ordered entertainment center to our most recent custom sofa purchase, we have been very happy with our furniture from here. I think they have the right balance of quality vs price - if you are looking for that balance.
I ordered a couch on June 4th. They quoted 6-8 week delivery. It is week 10. Just called them - they said it will be delivered next week, which is exactly what they said last week. These guys have no clue how to estimate delivery times and have no visibility into their suppliers operations. They might as well be guessing. How Amazon can give me exact delivery times for a bag of dog food yet these Gage Furniture guys can't keep track of my $3000 couch is beyond me. Avoid avoid avoid.
My fiance and I visited Gage Furniture's show room during the beginning of their labor day sale and were thoroughly impressed by their staff and selection. We found a great coffee table at a great price. The staff were very welcoming (same-sex couple here), but also gave us our space to look around on our own. They held our coffee table for us for several weeks until we moved into our new home. I picked up the coffee table from their warehouse and experienced the same extremely helpful and grateful staff. They thanked me repeatedly for my business and were very fast and careful to load the coffee table. We will definitely be back!!!
We love, love, love our Flex-Steel sofa & chair from Gage! A few years ago, they offered all furniture half off, with an extra 10% off if you paid everything up front. You can't beat that kind of deal for that excellent quality of furniture. I hope they continue those annual winter sales. Everyone deserves some top-notch furniture at an affordable price.
