Robert let us look around with very little interruption. Didn’t follow us around the store. But was always there when we needed him. I was dreading furniture shopping because I hate the salesman who follow you around and comment on everything you look at. I really appreciated being able to shop and talk it over with my wife without having someone listen and interject.
Went in and picked out and paid for a Power Recliner, much to my disappointment it could not be delivered for 2 weeks but I was settled for the date and waited. When the delivery truck arrived (they had called and verified we would be home at least 3 times) they had the wrong chair not power and This was after they damaged my wall bringing it in, the house is not even 40 days old. No resolution was offered but after being treated rudely on the phone the best they could do to fix the issues was call me 2 hours later and say Friday was the earliest they could correct the mistake and get me the correct chair. I am going to wait for the new delivery date since this is to help relive my back pain so i will be held hostage to the poor customer service. The thing that gets me is that from sales to management nobody really cared to get this right. Save yourself the pain go to STAR or Haverty's you will not get treated this way this is the last thing i will ever buy from Rooms to Go. Company’s response are meaningless do business somewhere else
We love our Joybird Hughes Reversible Sectional. It fits perfectly into our living room and is very comfortable. While it took a few weeks to build and ship, it was totally worth it. The delivery was easy and we would definitely buy from there again. We look forward to many years of lounging on this comfy couch.
Had a $1800 bed and mattress ordered and what was delivered was damaged and the box spring was not the correct size. Called to have it corrected and I would have to pay for them to correct the issue. Wish I could give 0 stars! There were spots all over the bed that were damaged to where I had to pain over them to hide the damage!
Called and spoke to a manager. Not only would I have to pay $50 more to have someone come out but I would have to pay for the new box spring. Never again! And they wouldn’t take payments over the phone or setup the order to pay online. Problem is I purchased this furniture for my move and am no longer in Austin so simply coming into the store would be a challenge considering it’s iver 2.5 hours away.
Specifically asked about delivery timeline in store before ordering as needing the piece ahead of houseguests arriving only to have the timeline change the next day. And then changed yet again. Canceled order. Called 5 days later to confirm refund was being processed only to be told it hadn't yet been initiated and would it be okay if they had to send me a refund check in the mail vs putting back on my CC further delaying returning my funds. Unbelievable. Complete lack of sales integrity and horrible business practices. Avoid Rooms to Go!
