Wait time is minimal, except for the lab, which is understandable.
I have seen some comments on here say that others who complain, have an unrealistic view of health care. No this is what Bureaucratic BS looks like. I do not feel lucky at all to have this crappy facility. Its no different than the treatment at the Denver VA. To me its a BS dog and pony show. If I could give negative stars, believe me I would.
This clinic is tops!
Sincerely,
Harry Young, Owner of Molly Maid of Greater Austin
Late but NOT denied I love you all.. This USA Texan-Houstonian Miss Jacquelyn Wynette Chatman, Nickname Jackie..
Staffing is wonderful.
Today was my first ever visit to a VA medical facility and with all the recent publicity, I wasn't sure what to expect, but let me tell you that the VA center in Austin is a First Class facility, run by First Class people providing First Class service. Wait times were shorter than expected, the providers were very professional and knowledgeable, and above all THEY CARED!!
I'm not a Austin VA Outpatient Clinic PATIENT nor have I visited with a PATIENT before but self help myself. in seeking employment while. a Austin, Texas Homeless from July 2011 to January 2012 and resumed to Houston, Texas again...
Facilities are sparkling clean.
Now for the negative side, in order for me to have my current provider I had to change providers since the first doctor was extremely rude (some Indian female doctor). My only other complain in that every time I call the VA I can NEVER get anyone on the line for assistance. I have pushed 0 to talk to an operator and 5 to talk to a nurse and each time it takes me back to the main menu. It's not the first time....which is why I was prompted to write this review.
Lets see, 3-4 months to get a stinking appointment. Staff likes to give you numbers that ring and ring and ring. Choice program is a complete joke. Better pack a lunch if you need to be seen same day because it will literally take all day to be seen. Lets not get me started on blood pressure meds that my cardiologist wants me to have and I cannot get. This is just a few "wonderful" experiences I have with the VA.
Former MEDVAMC Program Support Clerk, Miss Jacquelyn Wynette Chatman
Even if I lived further away I would utilize this facility.
No interviews... Just stopped by observed and inquiry. will their location will have a opening soon..

My provider at the Austin VS is excellent and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. The facility is also new and most of the time when an go in for blood work I'm in and out in no time. I also find most staff are very nice and want to help people. I've only encountered a few rude staff members which is not pleasant for anyone to encounter anywhere.
One complaint, handicapped parking is way too far away from the door. Designer of the building never had to use crutches.
Extraordinary POSITIVE exceptional customer service I obtained from each staff member.. I went to possibly all their outpatient clinics for observation..
