I'll try to make this short.
Great hospital. My dad always receives good care here.
It was server food posisoning. Saturday after more treatment with Emetrol the nausea eased she slept most of the day. Now it's Sunday and after 12 hours of sleep last night, she got up had some fluids, Gatorade, water and more water. She's on the couch sleeping again. But said she's feeling a little better except for very sore stomach from dry heaves.
My wife came in for a stint in her corodid artery. They were unable to complete the job due to her veins had too many turns. Then she had to be flat on her back from 6.30am that morning until 9 05pm that eveing. I hope I never witness the discomfort like she experience ever again. That would have made waterboarding seem like nothing. I can't imagine the pain she endured. She is a very strong lady
The ER staff were so pleasant and great to work with. They were very prompt and kind and helpful. The best ER experience I have ever had.
The doctors and their staff were very good and we had no complaints, with the exception of the Bad Food. If you go there DON'T eat food.
Everyone at this Hospital is extremely nice and very good Help full This is one of the beat hospitals I have seen in a very long time
We were discharged about 1pm the following day, but they served her lunch first. She had chicken breast and a baked potatoe. After eating about half of it she said it was horrible and that she shouldnt have ate it. That evening she started vomiting and diarrhea. I ran to walgreens for medicine to treat it. She continued through the night. Next day Friday still the same until things subsided above 3.30pm. I was able to get her into the urgent care office in Georgetown for treatment.
Dr. Owens, if you see this and I hope you do, you neglected my dad to his own detriment. I don't know if it's because he's a vet, but your nurse treated me like it was ridiculous to bring my 70 year old dad in after he hadn't eaten in five days. You refused fluids, though he was clearly dehydrated, urine almost orange, and sent him off after maybe an hour and a half. He didn't take anything seriously with the way you brushed him off and now he has rapid colon cancer and still doesn't take it seriously. It's only been a month and we're pretty sure this is the end. I know you signed on to help people, just please... Wake up. There are lives at stake. Your face will be in my mind until the day I die 70 years from now and it will come along with this image of you and your nurse playing everything down when everything was actually so incredibly crucial.
And the bill came in the mail today. You did literally nothing but play down his illness and we're up to $900. Fix this.
