I once loved LavaWash but it's changed. I wanted to give them my money again but the post it notes wouldn't let me. The staff reserves the machines for their wash and fold clients which is OK and I'm happy to go to spin zone but they have my money on the wash card and income from the wash and fold clients Winner Winner!
Its messy everywhere and doesn't feel clean anymore (they have dead plants on the machines covered in dust)....i hate to use the other laundromat down the street as they are jerks, but they keep their place clean and the machines work.
The employees are still very nice and helpful, but the owner has let this place fall apart. Half the machines dont work correctly, and the other half are being used by the staff to wash stuff for corporate account (towels and tablecloths). The machines use a card paying system but have been out of cards for months....There was only 3 useable carts for the 9 customers that were there (the others had business account linens hanging from them).
Stop being ghetto and I'll bring my business back.
I live near this place and as its baseball season with 3 kids, I have declared laundry bankruptcy. I came in the morning (best) and had no experience of how to utilize a laundromat. Jeannie was so helpful and nice to this newbie. No coins are necessary. Just settle up at the end. Everyone was friendly and it's clean with large machines.
I went to LavaWash yesterday and I am glad I did. The staff was incredibly friendly and more than helpful with all the questions I had. Everything was very clean and had a very friendly vibe. Wifi worked great. I definitely was not looking forward to spending my Saturday washing the down comforter my dog peed on - but the helpful staff and friendly environment turned my mood around :)
Do not use this laundry mat. Once you put money on a card your stuck with it. They do not follow their store hours, especially on weekend, so if you like to go by a schedule then you may find your self stuck with no where to go. The staff changes a lot too. Writing this review in front of the place now and it's not open but should be and there are about 6 customers here waiting. Why because we probably all have money on a card we cannot use and no where else to use it.
Be careful...this place has changed!!!...i have been coming here on and off since they opened, but man has this place is bad now.
