My cousin recommended U-Pack after her move within the state. I was moving out-of-state and decided to check them out. Initially, it was a bit pricey having to move from Texas to Massachusetts but I got a discount which helped a lot. They were very flexible on my moving dates, the customer service was great each time I called, and overall I had a good experience. From when I called in May and set my date and I kept pushing until I made the move in August. My cube was delivered on time and the delivery guy was helpful too. I highly recommend them.
Great customer service! We were moving my mom cross-country to live near us. It was smooth sailing. All the way through, I got text updates and reminders and when I called, they were always helpful and efficient. We had to do the trailer since the cubes weren't available for our area but they contracted with Old Dominion and they were professional and great the whole way through. The drivers were all very friendly. They showed up during all of the 4 drop-off and pick-up windows. The truck was clean and ready to pack when it arrived, the available straps and bars made it so easy to tie down everything in place. I couldn't have been happier with the process. It ended up being no more expensive than a u-haul for us and we saved the 3-days of driving stress and headaches traveling with my aging mother and her neurotic dog would have caused. They delivered way earlier than we expected and broke my seal to show no one had been inside. We only had one thing break and it was due to our own mistake of placing a too heavy box on a table base that couldn't handle the weight. Otherwise, everything looked exactly like we had packed it. This is the way to go if you can handle your own loading.
I used U-Pack for my cross-country move, and would do it again in a heartbeat! Their customer service was top-notch throughout the whole process, and their policies were flexible and allowed me to do what was best for me. I loved that you can reserve more pods than you think you need, and if you don't use it, they won't charge you! Their pickups were all on time, and the online experience of being able to check on your stuff and coordinate moving has an excellent user experience. Highly recommend!
Made a move from Austin to Michigan with my family. We got tired of moving companies overcharging, giving false promises, and poor customer service, so we have ABF upack a try. From beginning to end great customer service, great price, and our stuff got to our new home safely and on time. A little more effort to pack and move our own things but much worth it! We found out about U-Pack online and were attracted by the substantially cheaper option of loading and unloading our stuff into/from the ReloCubes ourselves. It worked out perfectly, and the U-Pack staff at both ends were very helpful and accommodated our schedule. No one likes moving, but if I move again U-Pack will definitely be on the top of my list.
