The nurses and techs were stellar. I mentioned to the staff that my mom would celebrate her birthday during Dad's stay with the expectation that they would all wish her a happy birthday when they saw her. They went above and beyond. They brought in cupcakes, flowers, a balloon and bought a card for my dad to sign! Then they all converged in Dad's room to sing Happy Birthday. We truly felt like we were leaving a little family when Dad was discharged. I would recommend this care facility to anyone.
My father was a patient at Healthsouth for about three weeks. I cannot begin to describe how pleased we were. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely cared about all of the patients and their families. Doctors Manasa and Jennings were thorough and we never felt as if we were falling through the cracks. Dad got a workout in his therapies and was not allowed to slack off!
