The team that was treating me said it was impossible for them to do what I had been ask them to do. I then ask that the Hospital Ombusman contact me...they did not know what an Ombusman was. The Charge Nurse of the ER name TONY came in listened to my feedback.
However they are excellent if you are insured..... Awesome at delivering babies......
When he found out the full story..he looked up my records, asked more questions, gave me 3 copies of what the treatment was for the time I was in the ER and promised to pass on the feedback...especially about the Ombusman..which is a patient advocate. Tony then took more time with me finding out my feelings and the 'Story behind the Story' .. that all patients have. This is what Care and Service are all about. Thanks Tony...you followed through and gave me back Confidence in the ER dept of your Hospital.

Waited 30mins for a Doctors note at 9am in an EMPTY lobby, with NO PATIENTS, & tons of staff! Then the lady who helped me with the thick black head band was hiding behind a wall peaking at me so she didn't have to help me. Once she did, she had the nastiest attitude! Won't be back!
Clinic and my Personal Physician. Previously, I had talked with medical records and had completed what they had asked me to do. I gave them signed releases for both medical parties. I have stage 4 cancer plus diabetes 2. ..so, it was very important that my physicians get the feedback.
I recently was in the Emergency Room complaining of sharp pain in my right chest area. I experienced a team that was concerned...but my end experienced was poor. My complaint was asking my records be transferred to my Oncologist at the Shivers
Also FYI : If you don 't have insurance or are homeless.
Parking was inadequate, but easily visible. Waiting room was unattended, dirty with ants working on the "clean-up". Cafe grill was good. Just because this hospital is old, doesn't mean it should not be maintained and kept clean!
This place was nasty& . Very dirty! Ants all over the floor in the waiting room. Bathrooms dirty. Staff was friendly, cafe was decent, but this place was just dirty dirty. Floors really could use a mop, trash never takin out. JUST GROSS!
He had not been briefed of my request, my medical condition, but Listened and asked a few questions.
Recently I was taken there via ems..... My blood pressure was at stroke level... I vomited 4 times and 2 more times after zofran..... No treatment given my sugar levels were checked I was left bleeding and when I brought it to my nurses attention she grabbed a gauze and threw it at me and walked away. Dr. Was no help either.... Gave a script for ibuprofen and zofran and told me my discharge papers were ready that I needed to leave. I told him: I would like my nurses full name to file a complaint. He told me : I'm not going to give it to you ask her. I asked the nurse to give me her name she turned her badge around and refused.... I turned to find that five officers were awaiting me with discharge papers... Stated..... Ma'am you need to leave now before you make a problem for yourself... Then attempted to escort me..... I told them I know my way out. Now had I had a stroke and died it would have been on them. Of course I went to another hospital though.
