I will never rent a car from Fox. I would have given a blank star however that is not an option. Had my reservation for 3 weeks, my vehicle was not available due to the prior person renewing another day...nor were any suv's similar to fit my needs for a family of 5 vacation because the 2 vehicles they did have still needed to be maintenced and the guy was off that day (on a Friday)apparently nobody else employed by Fox know how to clean a vehicle. The guy at the desk did nothing to else to help the situation except to say sorry, smile and chew his gum like a cow chewing on hay...he seemed to be very used to not satisfying their customers... Worst customer service ever. Do not waste your time with this place.....go to THRIFTY, they were very helpful and accommodating!
I rented a Toyota Camry with 6100 miles on it. It broke down on Day 2. I tried to call Roadside Assistance and was put on hold for 30 minutes. I finally got to the end and got an automated message that said the mailbox was full. Disconnected. Next day I tried to call the rental agency, roadside assistance, and the corporate offices. All of them put me on hold and no-one helped me. Don't rent from these clowns. You get what you pay for.
John and Ryan were absolutely amazing to work with. I was in a difficult situation and they were compassionate, empathetic, and did absolutely everything they could to help get me out of the predicament. They treated me not as a customer, but as a person first before anything. Truly grateful for them, and what they did for me. Fox Rent A Car, keep these guys, and give them a raise!
My reservation was canceled by Fox because my flight arrived over 3 hours late. Funny thing was there were 4 other renters on the fox bus with exactly the same issue. All of us were offered available cars at twice the cost or more of our original reservation! All 4 of us left Fox, never to return! Seems if they have available cars, have records that a reservation was made they should honor it. I have had late arrivals with many many other car rental agencies who honored my reservation no problem....Fox lost me forever!
I bought the prepaid gas option because I was told it would be $2.30 a gallon. When I got the bill, it was $2.54. Also very long wait times to get a car. It took about 45 minutes. One attendant just walked away from me when I asked him where I should go to pick up the vehicle.
