You should make it EXCEEDINGLY CLEAR that you don't take debit cards except for a few circumstances, before someone gets to the counter. Just include it at the top of your confirmation email. It's pretty easy. If you need help with that, I can show you. Thanks for the free upgrade.
I had a good experience with renting my car. Everything went well with getting and returning the car. I even got a free upgrade. However I was charged a fuel fee that I turned down at the beginning and had to do some convincing to get them to take this off my bill. I will continue to use you but check to make sure the guys behind the counter are typing what you tell them.
Our flight had a late arrival. The staff was courteous to stay back and help us with our rental. It did take a long time to get out of the airport though.
As we were leaving the airport, my wife noticed that the gas tank was on empty. We pulled in to the nearest gas station, filled up, and then called National (going back would have been a pain).
This was about as perfect as you can get as far as a car rental. Being a member of the Emerald Club makes it effortless to pick up your car. I was able to walk right past the counter to the garage and picked out the car I wanted and drove away. On returning it was just as simple. Pulled in the garage. Left keys in console and was met immediately by a very kind employee asking how everything went with the car and I unloaded and walked away. The entire process was just simple, fast and perfect. Kudos to National for finally creating a process that is so easy and pleasant.

As usual, we received great service from National. The selection of cars on the Emerald Aisle was a bit sparse, but the Impala that we got looked to be from the Premiere side of the house so we were quite happy.
The car was one of the newest ones, fresh and clean. When returning the car, the staff was very friendly and took good care of us.
Customer service was very understanding and told us to just return the car the way we got it, and gave a reference number.
Returning the car was a breeze, as usual, and we received no grief over the fuel level.
