Attended two-day conference. Beautiful facility. Great food at every break and nicely presented. It was easy to get to my meetings and to pull away to a quiet spot for a conference call. Being in this facility in the shadow of the UT tower made me proud to be a Longhorn.
Attended a class here. Classrooms are nice and roomy while catering is superb. Nice snacks, fresh coffee, tea and sodas and during breaks all kinds of snacks from breakfast in the morning to candy and cookies in the afternoon. Lunch is also very nice, and the classes are great. Definitely recommend it!
Attended a big data conference, and it was great, nothing over the top but a good event. However, the hotel people acted like they had nothing to do with the event even though it was taking place in the hotel. Other than that the centers food and drinks were great!
The venue is great for a mid-size conference. The breakout rooms that are lecture hall format are nice for presentations and even worked well for small group discussions. The staff was friendly and helpful and the facilities were kept clean and stocked despite the number of attendees. The courtyard is what really makes it a stand out place. Comfortable chairs and tables with beautiful plants and a fountain make it a great place to meet with friends and colleagues.
Very nice hotel. Very clean. Nice decorations. Lots of meeting space. Lots of parking. Helpful staff. Close to many fun things in town such as museum and capital building.
