Definitely cute, and you can't beat the location. Could benefit from some mini fridges to stash the room beers that can be purchased in the lobby. Otherwise, the pillows and memory foam beds were top notch, and the shower products were awesome. Each room has slightly different decor that is fun and colorful.
Hip old hotel with cool decor and very comfortable beds. Wonderful location close to good restaurants, shopping, and live music.
This place is right out of the 1960's. Great value for the location just south of the river across from downtown Austin. Tons of bars and restaurants to walk to from this facility. The people here are hip, cool and go along with keep Austin weird.
My parents were staying here and I got to see their room and it was pretty hip, each room has a slightly different retro design. We then went down to the outdoor bar for a couple of cocktails which was a lot of fun.
very friendly staff great people nice facility for the value.
The only issue I have with this place is the door to the room needs weatherstripping, cracks all the way around the door to the outside.
Great location, comfy beds, not fancy but cool retro vibe with fun wallpapers and helpful people at the front desk.
