Have to say having stayed in a ton of hotels in the last few years this one has some of the best staff and amenities. Great restaurant, rooms clean and decent size and for business they have six or seven conference rooms.
Definitely one I'll stay at again when in Austin if I don't need to be downtown proper. Even so that is 10 min away (30 at risk hour) and after a night on the town a quiet place away from the fray that's easier to get to the airport makes a lot of sense.
The suite we rented during ACL weekend was great. Close to downtown, parking was free and easy in the underground parking garage. Check in and check out was a breeze. Beautiful 1 bedroom suite.
Room is just what you need. Nothing fancy but nice and comfortable. The staff is always so friendly when you enter or leave and there is ample parking which is nice. The restaurant food is delicious. The only drawback is the rooms don't have a microwave and there isn't a community one in the ice/vending area. Staying there a week, it would be nice to be able to keep any leftovers. Oh and the stairwells and garage smell awful but the lobby and rooms don't have a dad smell.
Tucked away amongst a ton of hotels, this sits on the IH35 parallel road to main highway so easy to get downtown or head elsewhere in the area (San Antonio a bit over an hour south).
The staff was exceptional in helping me get set up and hold a benefit meeting for my company. The room was spacious and very accommodating. I would choose this place again
Nice hotel! Was here for ACL weekend. Loved the shuttle service to downtown. Made it easy to get to the shuttle for Zilker park. Overall, the staff was nice n helpful, good location and hotel was clean and decorated nicely. One disappointment for me though and I hope these things are fixed before anyone else has to endure. Our initial room was the best location, but the shower didn't work. Moved to another room on the same hall (accessible room)the phone didn't work, not good. Had to move a third time and all was good. Abel, was the night clerk who helped with NO problem and was really nice n quick to help. Loved the breakfast buffet! Nice bar area too. So, nice hotel, needs a few repairs though. Would return for another stay!
