Only some of the rooms (apparently the ones with the lake view) are updated. The one we paid $215/night for, was not. It was also small. One bed was against the wall, the other was against the barn door. The bathroom was worse. The elevators are dilapidated. The downstairs men's bathroom was appalling. Toilets stopped up and overflowing. Vomit in the urinal. It smelled disgusting. Overall, not a great experience.
The hotel was awesome. Was upgraded for free with an amazing view inn the high floor. More than enough parking, good entrainment kb the hotel and walking distance to downtown. Hotel even offers a free shuttle in a 2 mile radius. Food was great although I thought the breakfast was over prices and average. I'd would most certainly book again.
The hotel has a complimentary airport shuttle which is super helpful. It's located next to a gas station for quick access to things that aren't at the little store in the lobby area. The hotel bar and food at the bar are solid. Local beers on tap and in cans so you don't have to go far for those. It's easy to get to as it's right off the highway.
Rooms are interesting shaped and unique. However the windows don't open, the bathroom has no ventilation, and the thermostat doesn't really change the temp.
It is the first time I do a review of this type but I do not know what happens with this hotel but it is very sad to arrive wanting to enjoy a service where the photos that show you on the website are totally different from reality. As soon as we got to the room we realized that there were some socks from another guest and a used towel, that is, the room was not ready to deliver, then they gave us another room and at 12 at night the air conditioning was turned off. the attention is pessimistic. When they sent us to a third room they did not even have blanket we had to go down to the old room to look for blankets. I definitely do not recommend this hotel.everything is deteriorated!
Cleaning staff is sub par. We tipped them on our first night, and each night thereafter they didn't take the garbage, change the sheets, nor bring new towels. We stayed for 5 nights, so that's fairly gross... Would not stay again. Not worth the ~$200/night
