I usually enjoy my stays at Best Western but not this location. I stayed here for a business trip with two colleagues. The front desk called and said that we had a noise complaint for our room. We were working on a presentation with no TV on. We informed the front desk that we were not making noise. The front desk called again 15 minutes later and said that the guests beside us had complained again that we were talking too loud. We we're very confused.
This was such a lovely hotel - - luxury linens, fantastic hot breakfast, every comfort and upscale decor. The staff were pleasant and attentive. It was an amazing value and we'd definitely come back.
The hotel is clean and friendly staff. Reason of 3 stars is because the shower curtain is way too short and not aligned with the bath-tub, thus have water all over the floor. The lighting in the bathroom is very dim and the exhaust fan is way too loud. Breakfast is okay, but need more tables and chairs.
This is a wonderful property to stay when you are in Austin. The location is prime and you can get anywhere easily. The rooms were wonderfully appointed. The amenities were much appreciated. The only negative thing for this stay was an extremely loud refrigerator. I had to have it changed out because the first one never got cold. The replacement made noise all night and day. The hotel staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this property with the caveat to beware of refrigerators that might keep you up. I am returning to stay at this property again and believe things will be good.
I highly recommend this hotel. It's not a 5-Star Hotel but it's very nice. Close to airport. Room was very clean with all amenities expected. The staff treated us great. My thanks to these members of the staff - Ruth, Norma, Carmen, Charles and Quenzell. I highly recommend this hotel for family vacations and business travels.
The next night when we returned to our room we had to ask for more towels because the handicapped shower in our room flooded the floor when we used it. The front desk representative came with the towels and said that our neighbors had complained about noise from our room. We had been there maybe 20 minutes. She then informed us that if we got another complaint we would be asked to leave. When we tried to ask questions about why she told us that airline employees stay at this hotel and they need their sleep and the walls were thinking at this hotel. Will never stay here again.
Location is perfect if you need to be close to the airport, and they also have a shuttle to/from airport.
