Clean and spacious rooms. Comfortable bed. A little bit more on the noisy side in terms of traffic. Weak shower water pressure. A bit on the pricier side, but may have been due to it being on the holiday weekend (it was a Sunday stay though) Still satisfied for the most part.
We chose the Stephen F Austin for our wedding night. Unfortunately they forgot that, despite the fact we wrote it down several times during the booking process. The room was okay, but the layout was odd for a suite. We were also disappointed that a suite would have a tub that was incredibly small, and made out of cheap plastic. The fridge is packed with over priced snacks, and if you attempt to move them your room is automatically charged. The small space left for us to use was not big enough for a single bottle of beer. Overall it was an ok experience, but for a wedding night in one of their suites, we expected more for our money.
Location is excellent, although typical of downtown Austin on a weekend was very loud on the street. The room was nice, although a little small. If all you plan on doing is sleeping and showering it's the perfect size. Service was really what saved this place. Valet and door greeter were helpful. Front desk was quick and more than happy to answer questions for us.

We visited the bar after a black-tie professional event. We had a few nice drinks and the service was wonderful. We will definitely return.
