A great experience--room was clean, safe, close to the airport, and bonus...when I left behind a valuable item, the director of sales was able to locate and send to me. Two days later, and thousands of miles, item received in mail. Best travel experience to date.
Booked Last minute for the US Grand prix. Stayed Thursday - Monday. The hotel was Clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, bathroom was fine with the exception of low water pressure in the sink. Shower and tub were clean and the housekeeping staff was excellent. The Location is perfect for getting to Downtown, COTA, or to the airport quick. They even have bottled water and light snacks for sale behind the front desks. I'm not sure about the 1 Star reviews , because our stay could not have been better unless it was Free. Very impressive compared to most Super 8's!!!
I have stayed here two times so far. It has been great thus far outside of a coffee pot with a layer of mold in it. This is my go to hotel when heading to Austin Bergstrom.
It had been a long time since I stayed at a Super 8, when I booked this reservation I set my expectations pretty low. When I arrived at the hotel I was greeted promptly and serviced quickly. They had free WiFi which was great as I was traveling on business. When I got to my room I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and comfortable accommodations, the TV worked well (had cable & good picture), the room smelled clean and fresh, there was a fridge and microwave in the room, laundry basket for used towels, robes available to the guests, and an ironing board and iron so I could get ready for my meetings in the morning. The rooms were also decorated well. The hotel was also conveniently located next to gas stations and drive through restaurants. The security measures at the hotel were also good as at a certain time of day the hotel guests need to use their room card to access the building. The one draw back was that none of the three exercise machines in the gym seemed to be in working order.
I've never seen a hotel more disgusting. We paid ahead of time and regretted it. Didn't stay - just turned the key cards in and left. There were literally bugs and spiders crawling across the floor. There was mold all through the bathroom. There was graffiti in the bedroom. It was absolutely horrible. I could have never spent the night. We drove 5 hours home at 10pm to avoid it.
